80’s easy make-up, the ladylike look (perfect for Halloween)

I’ve created an 80’s easy inspired make-up look to rediscover hot trends from this not so far decades. It’s that easy this make-up turns out perfectly to fit any 80’s Halloween costume and character by adding more colours or accessories here and there.

I was born in the 80’s when colours could run free: bold “stripes” of blush along the cheeks and way up to the cheek bones and temples, pops of saturated and bright eyeshadows outside the natural V; metallic and glossy lipsticks, wild brows, neon nail polishes.
Singers like Cindy Lauper and Madonna wore memorable eccentric looks, other singers and actresses sported these trends in a ladylike way such as Whitney Houston and Cybill Sheperd (taken as references my 80’s inspiration graphic). Same thing could be seen on the little screen, magazines and daily life.

For this looks I’ve exaggerated with blush, indeed I opted for a strong fuchsia tinted blush can last for hours without fading away; for the lips, I suggest to play with moisturizing and iridescent lipsticks and by topping them with a metallic eyeshadow.
It’s a fun “game” and creates a totally customizable and shifting effect! The eyeshadow has to be metallic and, first of all, it must be lipsafe.

If you want this look to be younger:
emphasize your eyes with electric eyeshadows, applied as I’ve done here;
add more bijou and accessories, like lace half gloves and colourful long necklaces, to your costume.
The 80’s mantra was I wear as I like and I don’t care! Go wild and have fun this Halloween...
