Da pochi giorni è uscito un libro, "Fragments", che raccoglie i diari, i pensieri e le poesie scritte dalla vera icona di bellezza del novecento, Marilyn Monroe, al secolo Norma Jeane Mortenson.

Lei era molto più di quello che la dorata Hollywood ha mostrato. Marilyn era incredibilmente sensibile, acuta ed intelligente, e divorava libri, oltre ad essere la più splendida attrice americana.

Few days ago, an interesting book was published here, "Fragments", that gathers diaries, memories and poems written by the real 900s beauty icon, Norma Jeane Mortenson, known as Marilyn Monroe.

She was more than the golden Hollywood showed. She devoured books and she was sensitive, acute and intelligent as well as wonderful.

If you want to feel beautiful as Marilyn, here are two videos that will transform you into Marilyn step by step.

The first video is from naturesknockout’s channel. I’ve selected this video because here you can see how to make you hair. The model transformation is incredible, are you ready to be transformed?

E’ incredibilmente dotata, simpatica e, soprattutto, onesta e sa trasmettere una carica positiva e una fiducia in se stesse mai viste o provate prima d’ora.

Il video vi svela tutti i trucchi impiegati dal truccatore di Marilyn, Allan "Whitey" Snyder, e nel suo blog potete trovare questi “segreti”spiegati ed illustrati facilmente, se avete poca dimestichezza con l’inglese parlato, più una lista dei prodotti che il suo truccatore adoperava (qualcosa è ancora in commercio, incredibile!).

The second video was realized by Kandee Johnson, a Los Angeles make up artist and special effects expert. Kandee is my favourite blogger and MUA. She is so talented, nice and, especially, honest. She can pass one a positive energy and a self confidence that I’ve never felt or seen before.

This video reveals all the tricks used by Marilyn’s MUA, Allan "Whitey" Snyder, and in her blog you can find these beauty “secrets”, explained and illustrated, if you have some trouble with spoken English, and a little list with Marilyn’s products (some products are still available, incredible!).

Fra pochi giorni è Halloween e sono qui per aiutarvi con i preparativi.

Se avete il costume e non sapete come truccarvi, continuate a leggere perché ho cercato nel web e ho trovato alcune idee interessanti per il trucco.

Oggi parlerò di un tema caro a questa festività: la vampira.

Questo personaggio è molto di moda ultimamente, perciò vi propongo tre versioni tra cui scegliere, dal classico al moderno.

This video is perfect for girls who don’t like the classic vampire’s make up and want a modern and feminine touch.

I like the hair and all those accessorizes (I’m in love with the gloves and the headband, all black!).

Prodotti e consigli per ricci ribelli/ Products and tips for rebel hair

This post is dedicated to all of you, girls and women, with crazy, curly and frizzy hair, always busy and with no time for your wild mop.
Here some products I’ve tried and approved and some quick advice I’ve tested on my hair.

Find your perfect length. If you have no time and a dense mane, I don’t recommend long hair. In fact, because of the weight, your hair will become flabby and will lose its shape. If you want Rapuntzel wavy hair you can use a curling iron and a strong hair spray, but, obviously, you won't have enough time every day.

Don’t use a simply 2 in 1 shampoo. After shampooing use a conditioner for curl hair. You will see the difference while you are drying it.

Keep in your shower box a flat plastic comb. I’ve noticed that when I brush my wet hair before drying it, I lose a lot of hair, I feel a lot of pain and my hair loses always its natural curly shape.
If you brush your hair under the water jet, this operation will be easier and your hair, after the conditioner, will be extremely soft, without knots and ready for the styling.

In the picture below, from the extreme left, there are some products I’m using and I’ve used:

Studio line L’Oréal Hot Ricci: a soft and scented spray, with thermo-curling formula, it has to be used with curling iron or air diffuser. I loved how it left my hair soft, the curls it created in few minutes and its scent. Unfortunately, every time I tried to buy it there wasn’t in the supermarket and, I have to say, I don’t now if it is still on sale.
Fructis Garnier Onde Setose: a light foam, perfect with air diffuser. It’s a foam for wavy hair without vitality, but I think it’s fantastic with curly hair! It creates soft and perfumed ringlets.
Bilba HD: a foam, enriched with cashmere’s proteins, argan extract and anti frizz formula. I love it because it doesn’t glue your hair, has a formula lighter than the Fructis one, it works well on curly, wavy and straight hair and because I need a little bit of it for wonderful hair. 
Avon Advance Techniques Frizz Control conditioner: absolutely my favourite conditioner. It is light, it doesn’t make your hair heavier and it has the typical pro product scent. I apply it on wet hair and I rinse off after 3 minutes. Without it my hair are crazy and frizzy and I can’t dry it, for this reason I recommend it. The new packaging is grey. 
Avon Advance Techniques Curl-Defining Liquid-gel: a gel with liquid thickness. It’s a good product, but it doesn’t work with high humidity and it needs a lot of patience. I don’t recommend it to hurried people, because after applying it all over the hair, from the root to the tips, you need to “play” with every locks, rolling them on your fingers to give them a perfect shape. Products I highly recommend are HD Bilba and the Frizz Control conditioner.

I dislike Fructis Hydra ricci, a foam from Garnier's range for curly hair. Unfortunately, it left my hair glued and hard and it had a horrible formulation, sorry.

Questo post è dedicato a tutte le ragazze e a tutte le donne con capelli ricci e crespi, perennemente impegnate e con poco tempo da dedicare alla propria selvaggia chioma.

Ecco alcuni prodotti che ho provato e approvato e alcuni rapidi consigli che ho testato sui miei capelli.

Trovate la vostra lunghezza perfetta. Se hai poco tempo e una chioma folta, sconsiglio i capelli molto lunghi. A causa del peso, i capelli si afflosceranno e perderanno il riccio che sempre hai desiderato. Se vuoi dei capelli da Raperonzolo, puoi usare il ferro arriccia-capelli e uno spray a tenuta forte, ma, sicuramente, non avrai il tempo per farlo ogni giorno.

    Non accontentatevi dello shampoo 2-1 che usano i membri della vostra famiglia, se abitate con sorella/e e/o madre. Applicate dopo lo shampoo un balsamo appositamente studiato per i capelli ricci. La differenza si vedrà durante l’asciugatura e non potrete più farne a meno.

     Tenete nel vostro box doccia una spazzola piatta di plastica, quelle per capigliature afro e per dare volume alle radici. Ho notato che pettinando i capelli umidi prima di asciugarli, perdevo molti capelli, sentivo molto dolore e i capelli perdevano la loro forma.
Se pettinate i capelli sotto il getto della doccia, l’operazione sarà più facile e i capelli, dopo il balsamo, rimangono morbidi, senza nodi e pronti per lo styling.

Nella foto, dall’estrema sinistra, i prodotti che sto usando e che ho usato:

Studio line L’Oréal Hot Ricci: uno spray leggero e profumato, dalla formula termo-arricciante studiata per l’uso combinato con diffusore o ferro arriccia-capelli. Adoravo come lasciava i miei capelli leggeri, i riccioli che creava in pochi minuti e il suo profumo. Sfortunatamente ogni volta che cercavo di comprarlo non lo trovavo più e sullo scaffale del supermarket trovavo sempre un triste vuoto. Devo ammettere che non so se sia ancora in commercio.
Fructis Garnier Onde Setose: una spuma da usare con il diffusore.
E’ studiato per i capelli ondulati ma privi di vitalità, tuttavia, lo trovo fenomenale anche con i capelli ricci. Crea boccoli leggeri e profumati.
HD Bilba: una spuma arricchita con proteine di cashmere ed estratto d’argan, con formula anti crespo. Lo adoro perché non appiccica i capelli, ha una formula ancora più leggera di Onde Setose, funziona sui capelli ricci, ondulati e lisci e perché richiede una piccola quantità di prodotto per funzionare.

Frizz Control balsamo Advance Techniques Avon: il mio balsamo preferito. Leggero, non appesantisce i capelli, ha una profumazione simile ai prodotti professionali. Va applicato per 3 minuti e poi va risciacquato. Senza di lui i miei capelli diventano crespi ed indisciplinati. Lo consiglio vivamente. La nuova confezione è grigia.

Gel liquido modella ricci Advance Technique Avon: un gel dalla consistenza liquida da applicare su tutta la lunghezza del capello e da modellare prima dell’uso del diffusore. E’un buon prodotto, ma teme alte percentuali di umidità e va usato con molta pazienza. Lo sconsiglio a chi non ha molto tempo da dedicare ai propri capelli. Bisogna, a testa in giù, applicare il prodotto su tutti i capelli, dalle radici alle punte, in seguito bisogna “giocare” con le singole ciocche arrotolandole sulle dita per dare una forma perfetta. Questo gel è disponibile nei cataloghi Avon con nuova confezione e nuovo nome: Curl Control gel ravviva-ricci.

I prodotti che consiglio sono HD Bilba e il balsamo Avon Advance Techniques Frizz Control.

Il prodotto che boccio è Fructis di Garnier Hidra ricci. Sfortunatamente lasciava i miei capelli incollati e duri e la formula era molto meno leggera di Onde Setose.
